According to reports in the media, actress Blake Lively recently paid a visit to his New York store and walked out with 40 pairs of shoes! Though this may sound a tad unbelievable, Blake Lively was indeed photographed with more than a dozen shoe boxes surrounding her inside the Christian Louboutin store. The star face of `Gossip Girl' was seen getting her feet into red boots and a couple of pumps before purchasing them. Well, she ended up spending a whopping amount of $9000 on the pricey designer shoes!

And if you are thinking as to what she will do with so many pairs, you're thinking absolutely wrong. In a statement Blake Lively clears the confusion saying that she has so many sisters and friends, so she would also be giving away a couple of pairs as Christmas presents to them. Now I'm sure that all her friends will be dying to attend the 23-year-old star's Christmas and checking out those gift-wrapped boxes under the Christmas tree!

Blake Lively is presently on a personal and professional high. She is very excited about her forthcoming release `Green Lantern' opposite Ryan Reynolds. With producers of `The Town' and `Gravity' showing an interest to cast the young television star, the 40 pairs of shoes were a fitting way to celebrate the newly-found success.
