Hamilton to globe-trot with ''best buddy'' bulldog Roscoe

Lewis-HamiltonLondon, Feb 6 : Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton has revealed he wants to take his new British bulldog puppy to all 19 rounds of the F1 calendar with him.

The 2008 champion, who has plunged into life with his new team Mercedes at the start of a three-year 60 million pound deal, is extremely proud of the puppy, named Roscoe, reports the Daily Mirror.

The Mercedes F1 ace said he has wanted to own a dog since he was a child. Hamilton said Roscoe is his "new best buddy". He further said that his mother has five dogs.

Roscoe even has a passport and is going to travel around with Hamilton.

Hamilton has even asked billionaire ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone to help out and provide an exclusive paddock pass usually only available to sponsors who spend more than million pounds so he can take the dog with him into the paddock behind the pits instead of leaving him at a local hotel every day.
