Harman International opens new office in India

New Delhi, Oct 6 : US-based audio product maker Harman International Industries Tuesday said it has opened its new group office in India.
The company expects to equip a number of key venues at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
Located in Bangalore, the new facility establishes a business base in the Indian sub-continent from which the company would further expand its business in the region, it said.
"We are excited to further strengthen our presence in Asia and enhance our ability to serve our growing customer base in the region," said Dinesh C. Paliwal, chairman and chief executive of Harman.
Harman markets a variety of consumer audio systems under its premium brands such as JBL, Harman Kardon and Infinity.(IANS)
