Hind National Glass enters joint venture with Belgium based companyHindusthan National Glass & Industries (HNGI) Ltd has announced that the company is going to tie up with a company from Belgium. As per the senior officers of HNGI, there will be joint venture with Belgium-based OMCO International.

Both the companied have decided to set up two glass mould manufacturing facilities in India. They have selected Puducherry and Bahadurgarh, Uttar Pradesh for the operation of these two facilities. Apart from that there will be 50:50 joint venture between these two companies.

Joint Managing Director, HNGI, Mr. Mukul Somany has informed that first of all they will set up the Puducherry plant. They will be investing around Rs 35 crore for the set up and operation of the plant. He has also said that the Bahadurgarh plant will come up after two years. The production capacity of the two facilities are expected to be 3,500 glass moulds and 5,000 neck rings in the final phase.

He has said this while he was addressing to the media. He has also informed that the joint venture will provide HNGI various advantages like quality and cost recompense in the long run.
