India Looks To Carry Forward Momentum

Indian team is quite near to a certain one change for the third Test against Sri India Looks To Carry Forward MomentumLanka, which is to be held on Friday. After two poor performances, Dinesh Karthik will make way for Parthiv Patel.

There is even a bigger worry. It’s the pedigreed middle order that has one half-century between them in series so far. Though, it is also a fact that they had full backing of the skipper.

According to Anil Kumble, “It's a great thing that without them scoring runs, we have actually won a Test match comfortably. So I'm not really worried. And the time they score runs, which is obviously due, then things will be fine.”

Till now, Sri Lanka has relied upon its twin spinners, Muttaih Muralithran and Ajantha Mendis to do the bulk of damage in the series.

After having played really well in Colombo, Sri Lanka had taken aback by the turnaround at Galle. The captain is still certain of his team’s ability and proposes to leave that nightmare behind.

Mahela Jayawardene reported, “We just need to adjust a few things from the last Test which we have discussed. We made a few mistakes in the bowling department. So we can take care of that and keep the pressure on the Indian batsmen.”

For India, however, it could be said that it has done well to make its comeback in Galle and will want to carry on with this momentum in the third test.
