India's leading IT services provider, Infosys has said that it will soon get listed on NYSE Euronext London and Paris markets on Wednesday.

Infosys will become the first company from India to get listed on the NYSE Euronext. The company said in a statement that its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director S D Shibulal will be in London to mark listing of the company on the bourse. Infosys will trade under the ticker symbol INFY on NYSE Euronext.

"Listing on NYSE Euronext enables UK, French and other European investors to have direct access to Infosys ADS. It is a testament to the strong relationship between Indian and the UK and allows UK investors to benefit from the India growth story," Shibulal said.

The listing on NYSE Euronext is aimed at allowing investors in markets besides the US and India, in Europe to easily invest in Infosys' ADS among European fund managers. The company will start trading at NYSE Euronext's London and Paris markets from February 20.

To mark the first listing of the Indian firm on the NYSE Euronext, Shibulal will open the market by ringing the bell at 0800 hours GMT after which, he will travel to New York to ring the closing bell.
