Internet banking glitch solved; says Kiwibank
After a technical issue made its online services virtually unusable for more than 24 hours, Kiwibank's online banking facility is up and running again.
The bank confirmed earlier today that since yesterday morning, it was facing major issue with the site.
It had been now and then going on and offline, leaving some customers frustrated and others unaware there was anything wrong.
However Bruce Thompson, the communication manager told that the problem has been fixed and around 2pm normal service got back online.
Yet he told that for the bank it has been a "very frustrating" experience and all its customers affected by the problem.
He said, "Sometimes people would get part-way through transactions and it would stop; sometimes it wouldn't even let them start the transaction and other times it would work just fine."
