IRB Infra gets road project worth Rs 1,200 croreLeading Construction firm IRB Infrastructure has informed that it has received a road project worth Rs 1,200 crore from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The company has informed this in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

IRB Infrastructure was the most preferred bidder for the project and finally it has managed to get the NHAI project. Now the company will be involved in the construction of six-lane road in Karnataka for the National Highways Authority of India. It will be done in build, operate and transfer basis.

As per the filing at Bombay Stock Exchange, the company has estimated that the cost of the project will be Rs 1,200 crore. The length of the road is around 114 km. The project work is expected to commence soon.

However, after the filing the price of the IRB Infrastructure Developers stocks has gone down marginally. The firm was trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange at Rs 274.65. That means it has gone down by 1.95% from its previous close.
