The World's cheapest car, Tata Nano may have got the much-desired hype at the earlier stages, but today, it is very easy for the consumer to get hold of the Tata Nano despite the fact that the company has closed its bookings for the time being.

In fact, the consumer can get it readily available with the dealers as they possess unsold stock but it is also available in the used car market from the past three months.

Moreover, while the Nano was minting a premium in the earlier stages, it is not the case now, the consumer can get his hands on the Nano in a fairly decent condition at a 15% discount. Rajeev Dubey, President (HR, After Market and Corporate Services), Mahindra and Mahindra recently said that the used car arm of the M&M Group recently sold a Nano at a price of 1.25 lakh in a decent condition with market price currently at Rs. 1.45 lakh.

However, it is a general scenario that the price of the used car goes up in the used car market is the demand is very high as compared to the supply but the Nano hasn't really been able to see such a situation for a long time.
