London, October 28 : Actress Jerry Hall has laid the blame of married rocker Ronnie Wood's affair with a younger woman on `men's fear of dying'.

Her comments come after the Rolling Stone star evoked much criticism for ditching his wife of 23 years, Jo, to have an affair with 20-year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.

Former supermodel Hall, known for her long-term relationship with Wood's band mate Mick Jagger, said she knows what went wrong.

"There is no way a woman would ever leave her family for a teenager like that," the Daily Express quoted her as telling Britain''s The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

"No. It''s about a fear of dying for men; they want to stay immortal.

"But you know what, honey? We''re all dying every day - it''s just that women are more deeply rooted in reality," she added. (ANI)
