Jyoti bags big orders

Jyoti-LtdIn order which includes major aspects of electro-mechanical work, Jyoti Ltd, said on Monday that it has got orders worth Rs. 142 crore. The order was bagged by the company just a few days ago.

The biggest order is from the General of Naval Dockyard through Hindustan Construction Company. The worth of this deal is Rs. 85 crore and will be for the re-construction of the dry dock situated in Mumbai.

Other deals are for supplying, commissioning and erecting various other works related to electro-mechanical area. These come from Bharatiya Rail Bijlee Company.

Jyoti has to look after the water management system of the power company which is JV between NTPC and Indian Railways. It also needs to start a water system equipment package for the 4 X 250 Nabinagar Thermal Power Project, situated in state of Bihar. The order is worth Rs. 16.5 crore.

The rest of the order portfolio is divided between Parli Thermal Power Station and Jammu Tavi Irrigation. While Parli is from the Maharashtra government the other is from the Jammu & Kashmir. It also has in its kitty, three orders from the Karnataka Neeravari Nigam and Cauvery Neeravari Nigam of Andhra Pradesh.
