If Bebo considers doing a movie on Hollywood legend, Marilyn Monroe, can Katz be left behind?

The news doing the rounds is that Bollywood hottie Katrina Kaif is ready to play tragic Bollywood beauty Madhubala in Anurag Basu's upcoming venture.

Basu will be producing a biographical flick on well-known singer Kishore Kumar.

He wishes to bring the Madhubala-Kishore romanticism to the screen. The character of Kishore Kumar will be played by Ranbir Kapoor.

Katrina-Ranbir jodi created magic in their first movie 'Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani'.

The two were thought to play the lead in Basu's Silence until Priyanka Chopra stepped in.

According to reports, Sallu's girlfriend didn't want to share the frame or Ranbir for that matter with Priyanka, so she opted out. But, Anurag was very eager to work with her and has cast her as the renowned actress.

Madhubala is considered as one the stunning and talented actresses of Hindi cinema. She has been memorialized by her recital as the doomed courtesan in Mughal-e-Azam. She has worked in flicks such as Mahal, Howrah Bridge and Sharabi.

Her most unforgettable character has been in Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi with Kishore Kumar.

Katrina, will her innocent appearances will reprise the iconic star on screen. Katz has already started her preparation by watching Madhubala's movies. As for Kishore Kumar, the hor Ranbir also is making preparations to do justice to the character.
