Rakesh Roshan's forthcoming movie 'Kites', which is due to open in theatres on 21st May, is likely to have a massive impact with its first official trailer to be released by Reliance BIG Pictures on February 12.

The Hindi trailer of mega-budget film will hit 1700 screens to coincide with Valentine's Day, whereas the 'first-look' preview of the English edition will be released soon after on 1000 screens. . The English version of the flick is presented and remolded by well-known Hollywood director Brett Ratner.

Mr. Sanjeev Lamba, CEO of Reliance BIG Pictures, the film's distributor and marketer, stated, "Kites is a first-of-its-kind Indian film and it has already generated huge interest. We are proud to present the first look to a worldwide audience."

'Kites' is an undeniable romantic story, which crosses all barriers, limits and civilizations. It is a tale of fervor that resists every law, of a kinship, which takes two lovers on a exciting journey filled with prized moments - and unforeseen betrayal.

Shot in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Santa Fe, Kites stars Bollywood hink Hrithik Roshan and Mexican hottie Barbara Mori, Nick Brown, Kabir Bedi and Kangana Ranaut.

The music of the film is penned by Rajesh Roshan, motion-picture photography by Ayananka Bose and stunt coordination by Spiro Razatos.

Both editions of Kites will release worldwide at the same time in 60 nations on May 21.
