Colors channel has purchased the world television premiere rights of the recent super hit movie "Kites". Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori have worked as the lead actors in the movie. The movie was directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan. This movie was among the most awaited movies of the season.

It was the most hyped movie as well. “Kites” was released on 21st of May worldwide with more than 200 theaters all across the globe. Reliance BIG Pictures is the distributor of this movie.

Within a month of the film's release, the telecast rights have been sold to the channel.

The movie will be telecast in US, Britain and India on 27th June. "Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani" and "Blue" were also premiered on Colors channel within a month of their release. They were shown on TV even before taken off from the cinema halls.

Colors channel is a wing of Viacom18. CEO and head (international business) of Viacom18, Mr. Gaurav Gandhi has informed in a press release that their company is dedicated to bring biggest Bollywood blockbusters to their viewers in the comfort of their homes.
