The Union administration has named J Kohareswaran as new Chairman and Managing Director of the Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) in place of U S Jha, who is retiring tomorrow.

While confirming the news, Mr. Kohareswaran stated that he will take charge of his new office tomorrow.

Previously, he was Director (Marketing) of the company.

Being a cost accountant, he has worked in different capacities in finance section in both divisions of the company and also in the audit department.

He is also on the Board of RRCFL and FRBL.

Mr. Jha, who was chairman and managing director of the company from August 2005, is on the Board of railway and several fertilizer companies. (With Inputs from Agencies)
