Australian pop singer and actress Kylie Minogue has bagged a role in a Hollywood flick after almost a decade. The film titled Jack and Diane is believed to be a lesbian werewolf thriller, in which Kylie will play the role of a tattoo-clad rock star.

Kylie will share screen space with the English actress Juno Temple, Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough and Jena Malone.

Minogue is reportedly in New York now to shoot for the movie.

The film deals with the story of two New York City teen girls and is slated to release by the coming year.

In the 1980s, the 'Can't Get You Out of My head' singer shot to fame in the Australian soap opera 'Neighbours'. Since then, she has been offering countless hit numbers thus launching a hugely successful singing career.

In the 1990s, Kylie worked in the films such as The Delinquents, Street Fighter and Moulin Rouge in the year 2001.

The 42 year old pop singer was recently photographed with fake tattoos covering her neck, back and arms while she was shooting a cameo for the movie. She was wearing ripped skinny jeans and ankle boots.

While speaking to the media earlier this month, Kylie expressed her desire to come back to acting, and said, "I have created this music world for myself being a pop star and naturally stay inside it only. But now, I would like to work in some independent films." (With Inputs from Agencies)
