Beijing  - At least 43 people were killed and 51 injured in a nightclub fire overnight in southern China, Xinhua news agency reported Sunday.

Police said the fire broke out around 11 pm Sunday in Shenzhen in Guangdong province. The cause of the blaze had not yet been determined. (dpa)
