Washington, September 17 : American basketball star LeBron James is all set to play himself in his debut film ‘Fantasy Basketball Camp’.
The Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment comedy will revolve around five guys from different backgrounds, who reach Vegas to live their dream at the LeBron James Adult Basketball Camp.
The campers make James look at their various life issues, ranging from serious to idiotic.
Brain Grazer, who is producing the film, believes that the Cleveland Cavaliers star should be able to do a good job.
"I initially sought LeBron out because my 8-year-old son, Thomas, and I were just dying to meet him, but I felt that beyond being one of the world''s great superstar athletes, here was someone so relaxed and comfortable with himself that he would have the capability to be that way onscreen,” Variety quoted him as saying.
“Later, when I watched him host ''Saturday Night Live,'' and saw his advertising work, it was clear he can do this," he added.
The production is scheduled to begin next summer. (ANI)
