Lenovo takes on iPad; launches IdeaPad S10

Lenovo-Ideapad-S10-3t-Tablet-NetbookWith the release of the benchmark touchpad iPad, it seems every company wants to pitch against the IT behemoth, Apple. This time its Lenovo.

It has come up with its own touchpad tablet- IdeaPad S10.

The company claims it to be the first touch-enabled, affordable-ranged tablet with similar features of 'pinch and zoom'.

With specs such as Intel Atom N450 chip for the processor and 250 GB memory storage, it comes with additional features such as the Ethernet jack, power connector, and headphone and mic-jacks, five USB ports, VGA port, TV jack, Wi-Fi on/off switch line and also 6-in-1 memory card reader.

It has a 1.3-MP webcam that is able to provide a solid image quality during video calls in Skype.

Priced at Rs. 30,740, the IdeaPad has all the traits of a netbook, except for the swiveling multi-touch keypad that transfigures itself into a tablet when required. It provides an option to work on a capacitive basis rather working with a stylus.
