Madhur Bhandarkar, Raza Murad pay tributes to Zohra SehgalNew Delhi, July 11 - Bollywood yesteryears' actor Raza Murad and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar paid their condolence to the veteran actress and former dancer Zohra Sehgal , who passed away on Thursday at a hospital in New Delhi.

National award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar said, "It is a big loss. She started her career in 1935 and has made a huge contribution in the film industry."

"She was a very dynamic and vibrant personality. She lived her life the way she wanted to and has led a rocking life. Indian film industry will never forget her," he added.

Paying his condolence, Bollywood actor Raza Murad told ANI, "It is a big loss for our industry. She has made an unparallel contribution to our film industry and theatre."

He also said, "She had an amazing zeal. Despite her advanced age, she was mentally alert. We will miss her style of working."

Born Sahibzadi Zohra Begum Mumtaz-ullah Khan on April 27, 1912 was a recipient of Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan. She had appeared in some notable films like Him Dil De Chuke Sanam, Cheeni Kum and Veer-Zara.

She celebrated her 102nd birthday in April and had last appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya in 2007.(ANI)
