London, Aug 8 : Pop queen Madonna has cancelled her upcoming concert in Ljubljana, Slovenia, following reports that tickets for the gig were struggling to sell.

The Material Girl was due to perform in the country on August 20, however, her tour manager has confirmed the show will no longer be going ahead.

According to Slovenian media, the promoters only managed to sell l7,000 tickets out of the 63,000.

But the managing director of Live Nation in Budapest, Laszio Borsos, who is overseeing Madonna''s European tour insists the cancellation has nothing to do with sales.

"The reason for the cancellation is unforeseen logistical difficulties. There is no problem with ticket sales, absolutely," the Daily Star quoted Borsos as saying. (ANI)
