Man arrested with gun outside Obama’s home gets five-year jail termChicago, July 11 : A man arrested outside US President Barack Obama's Kenwood home with a gun last year has been sentenced to five years imprisonment.

The South Side man, Omhari Sengstacke, 31, has been convicted for his aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, the Chicago Sun Times reports.

The grandson of late Chicago Defender publisher, John Sengstacke, pleaded guilty to a Class 2 felony before Cook County Judge Nicholas Ford last month.

According to prosecutors, Sengstacke didn't make any threats against Obama in the September 23 incident, but repeatedly approached officers stationed near his home demanding a meeting with the then-Illinois senator about getting a job.

In Sengstacke's BMW, police found a .40-caliber semiautomatic weapon, a bulletproof vest and ammunition. (ANI)
