On Wednesday June 3rd evening Bollywood stars Kelly Dorjee and Mandira Bedi inaugurated artist Umakant Tawde’s art exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery at Kala Ghoda, Mumbai. Titled, Stillness Speaks the exhibition shall be running till Tuesday June 9th.

Artist Umakant Tawde told us his art show consists of a series of figurative works. Umakant further added that the basic core and content of the works, revolves around the meditative benevolence of Gautama Buddha.

Tawde has reinstated the basic essence and subtle demeanor of the timeless genius and his works explore the powers of soulful stillness and concentration, which unveil vast expanses of tranquil and peace.

Both Mandira and Kelly spend sufficient time looking around at the art works by Umakant and appreciated his work wholeheartedly.

Well but its raining art exhibitions for Bollywood stars it seems. Just the other day actress Vidya Balan inaugurated artist Kiran Chopra’s art exhibition titled - Colours of Mythical Love and now model turned actor Kelly and show host cum actress Mandira for this one. -Sampurn Media
