London, Aug 15 : Matt Damon has confessed that he enjoyed gaining weight for his new film `The Informant!' as he was allowed to chew on anything he desired.

"I definitely got doughy. I started eating like crazy and drinking dark beer. Between meals on set, I''d eat a No. 1 Value Meal at McDonald''s and then Doritos on top of it. It was absolute heaven," the Daily Express quoted him as telling the New York Daily News.

The dark comedy thriller revolves around a bipolar whistleblower Mark Whitacre.

It is based on the 2000 book of the same name. (ANI)
