McCartney inks deal with record company to release live album
Washington, Oct 2 : Sir Paul McCartney has singed a contract with Mercury Records for his soon-to-be released live album.
The deal will see the Universal-owned Mercury Records release McCartney’s Good Evening New York - recorded in a New York baseball stadium earlier this year - in the UK.
Contactmusic quoted the former Beatle as saying: "It was three great nights for the band, and for me personally it was very exciting to be back opening a new stadium on the site of the old Shea Stadium, where we had played 44 years previously.
“Even more exciting because this time round you could hear us!" (ANI)
