The MCD seems to be keeping no blocks unturned as it gears up for the upcoming monsoons. In lieu of this MCD has put in a round-the-clock control room that takes care of water-logging and other rain-related complaints. This is in regard of appeal that has been released for the residents of capital and other Residents Welfare Associations to join hands in making efforts to have a "trouble-free experience" in the monsoons.

The civic agency urged people to report complaints pertaining to water-logging, fallen trees, manhole covers, sanitation, repair of potholes, dangerous buildings in the control room. These complaints will soon be addressed to and geared up soon to adhere to immediately ease off from the situation. The officials added that the control rooms are functioning 24x7 and in addition to this voice logging facility has been installed where a call will be recorded which soon will be followed upon by effective monitoring and follow-ups.
