MeeGo platform devices to arrive in 2010Orange has announced to launch the Intel and Nokia's MeeGo platform to its handsets by the end of this year. Orange's Executive Yves Maitre has confirmed the news and has said that ultimately the orange customers will get benefited from the collaboration. Maitre has also anticipated that his company won't have to deal with patent related issues like the Apple-HTC lawsuit.

Moreover, the MeeGo platform is based on a Linux system supported with Intel's Moblin OS. It will provide media, apps and other services. It's altogether a media at a different height for the technology lovers. The platform has been designed in such a manner that can be fitted in different machines, including mobile phones, MIDs, tablets and netbooks. Maitre has claimed that this platform will help its customers to step ahead in to a richer mobile multimedia environment.

As of now, Orange is looking for MeeGo in its Orange TV and Orange Maps. But experts are hoping that there may be Orange Nokia phones in the market by the end of 2010. But still the big question is, can the trio- Orange, Intel and Nokia produce something remarkable for the tech world.
