Metro facility disturbed once again in Kolkata
In Kolkata Metro services were disturbed for a short time on Friday subsequent to a scrape evolved a technical hitch at the Kavi Subhas terminal station because of which the train was trapped at the station. According to a metro railway spokesperson, the axle cup on an unfilled scrape developed a hitch whilst the train was taking a U-turn for its revisit journey to Dum Dum. As a result, the train cannot go ahead further and got wedged at the Kavi Subhas station.
The event took place within 48 hours of the initial derailment of the Kolkata Metro the nation’s initial such railway arrangement that completed 25 years previous year. The event has activated fear among passengers and a high-level investigation has been prearranged to determine the reasons.
