More H1N1 Cases In Maharashtra, Andhra PradeshMost of H1N1 cases have been reported from Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh during the last few days.

In Maharashtra's Aurangabad city, lots of individuals have shown swine flu symptoms, out of which 9 persons have been taken to the govt medical college.

One person tested positive for the deadly flu whereas reports of the other eight are yet to come.

Padmaja Saraf, a doctor at the hospital said, "The patients showed symptoms of swine flu and that is why we have admitted them in the swine flu ward. So let's see what the reports have to say. As of now, nine patients have been admitted. Out of those nine patients, one has tested positive. Rest of the eight reports are awaited."

In Visakhapatnam city of Andhra Pradesh, a pregnant woman lost her life because of swine flu on Wednesday.

Since June 18, around 21 H1N1 cases have been confirmed in the State up till now. Around 8 people have also died of the flu.

L. B. S. Devi, the Zonal swine flu coordinator said, "Yesterday night, one antenatal third trimester mother died of swine flu and it came positive late in the night yesterday."

The medical centers in Andhra Pradesh have been organizing camps particularly in the rustic plus urban regions of Visakhapatnam to create public awareness of the influenza.

The H1N1 virus, better known as swine flu, created panic and fear worldwide in the year 2009.

The virus is generally found in pigs but has the same symptoms as any seasonal flu. (With Inputs from Agencies)
