London, Oct 18 - Sacked Manchester United football team manager David Moyes has said that he is ready to revive his managerial career after his ill-fated tenure at the Premier League side.

For the first time since losing his job at Old Trafford in April, the former Everton boss said that he is ready to return. He said that he has enjoyed the time off but added that he has got to wait on the right job and make sure it's one that he wants.

Moyes was sacked after less than 10 months in charge of United, following 11 successful years at Goodison Park . The Scot believes he can repair his reputation and prove his critics wrong, The BBC reported.

Moyes said that he is really ambitious, and added that he would never have left Everton for anybody but an ambitious football club. And, he said that he thought United would have given him that opportunity.

The Scot said that it didn't materialize that way, so he added that he is am hoping that the next club he joins gives him the chance to build a team, because he thinks that is what he is good at.

Moyes said that he also thinks that he is good at spotting and identifying young players, not only young players, but players. He added that over the years, they have brought in a lot of players at Everton and he thinks that they worked well.

So, he said that if the opportunity came, then hopefully he would be able to make it work.

Moyes won widespread acclaim for consistently guiding Everton into the upper reaches of the Premier League on a limited budget, and led them to the qualifying stages of the Champions League in 2005.

But he presided over United's worst Premier League season having been chosen by Sir Alex Ferguson to succeed him after a trophy-laden reign.

Despite being offered to manage many clubs, Moyes said that he would know when the right club comes along. He added that he needed a little bit of time just to make sure that he is ready, and he is feeling good to go back. (ANI)
