Medical experts of Narayana Hrudayalaya were approached by the authorities of Slovenian for the assistance in developing an economical health centre.

Narayana Hrudayalaya Chairman, Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty has agreed to help the Slovenia authorities in the matter. The team of Dr. Shetty will primarily edge on the cardiology and oncology department. The Chairman said that Narayana hospital will associate with Slovenia and will look over the factors like providing better health care facilities to foreign patients.

Slovenian Prime Minister, Borut Pahor visited the Bangalore hospital along with the Health Minister and some other delegates to participate in the event named 'Partner Country'. In the meet, they have decided that the Narayana Hrudayalaya’s team will visit their country to assist them in the future development.

Dr Devi Shetty said that Slovenia is a small country of Europe. The weather condition is quite favourable and is a nice place to go for investments. He further told that most of the hospitals of Europe are quite busy and have a long waiting list for the surgeries to be undertaken. Therefore, Slovenia can be a good option where the patients can be treated efficiently. Europe desires to have a huge health centre and so Slovenia can be considered.
