New app to allow buying a sending a drink to othersA new app called BarEye, claims to allow users to buy, send, and receive drinks through their iPhone or Android device.

The app lets users check-in a bar and the users can send drinks to others who have checked into the bar. They will also be able to send drinks to their Facebook friends through the app. BarEye, which is expanding to five new cities after a successful trial run in Tallahassee in the US, will be available on iOS and Android based devices.

The app is co-founded by New Orleans Saints football player and bar owner Jon Vilma, and his business partners Andrew Bennett and Richard S Hunter III to allow users to buy someone a drink through technology. The app will soon be available at bars in Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City.

The app will allow users to avoid crowded bar lines and order drinks for yourself, Facebook friends, or other BarEye users. The new members will be required to download the app and sign in with their Facebook account. The users can chat with other users, receive promotional offers, view a calendar of events, and even receive free drinks from nearby bars
