No end to Toyota’s woes

Toyota-LOGOTroubled Japanese car maker, Toyota got into another fix after two US Congressional Democrats said that the company has not yet shown the electronic systems which are under scrutiny.

The demands were made by Rep. Henry Waxman, Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee (HECC) and Rep. Bart Stupak, Head of the Committee & Apos's Investigative Panel.

The two men in question are investigating the technical faults that appeared in the accelerators of the auto maker.

Meanwhile, separate House Committees are asking for more information from Toyota. The trouble happened after it gave conflicting inputs about the reasons that caused faults to appear in its systems.

The demands were made in a letter sent to Toyota's head of sales in the US by HECC.

The document also asked for documentation which can prove that the faults were mechanical and not electronic in nature.

The US officials are also saying that Toyota has not sent enough number of executives for interviews. They say that the ignorant and escapist attitude is not what they had expected from the company.

Meanwhile, the sales of Toyota vehicles continued their fall, even after it recalled millions of cars.
