No tethering between iPad and iPhone-says Steve Jobs

Steve-JobsEver since the Apple iPad came to the markets, there is no end to the speculations and apprehensions regarding the product.

The latest buzz over the product is: Will the WiFi-only version of iPad turn out to be a threat to the iPhone?

But Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs took up the issue and has assured that in no way iPad can be considered a threat to the previous version of iPhone.

Steve Jobs also informed that the products of Apple currently support Bluetooth as well as USB. The company has also introduced the technical capacity to compete with the iPhone 3.0 firmware.

As far as the application of the product is concerned- the computer must be able to connect to the iPhone via USB or Bluetooth, when a user wants to use iPhone tethering from a Mac or PC. Above all, the system must support a network connection over a particular interface.

But the confusion is that the users are not too sure about iPad with Bluetooth hardware supporting a network uplink connection over Bluetooth.

However, Jobs denies all speculations and said there is no threat between these two.
