Hitron tugs up for competition, demos 8x4 DOCSIS 3.0 router

Hitron-TechnologiesHitron Technologies, the cable operating technology Company has featured an 802.11n wireless router at ANGA Cable 2010 aiming to take the competition to the next level.

The model coded CDE-30350 8×4 DOCSIS 3.0 router is based on the technology build by Texas Instruments chipset. This model boasts of a superior performance that includes efficiency in handling the main data stream, permitting cable operators with speeds above 120Mbps that too with a single modem capable of managing 400Mbps.

It encompasses eight bonded downstream channels that give out a downstream speed of 400Mbps, while handling the upstream speed levels in excess of 120Mbps.

CTO, Rudy Zijlstra, at Hitron Europe GmbH, said, "Cable operators who are investing in DOCSIS 3.0 technologies are looking to give their customers the most reliable service possible with the best internet speeds available in the market.
