The report further hinted upon the future of the chip maker that already has come up with a sales figure of $7.14 billion in the first quarter.

Samsung Electronics' claims that their chips act as the building blocks of the digital economy like electronic, from calculators to computers to smartphones to cars and thus this strategy has aided in gaining a higher spot for memory chips maker.

The market analysts claim that in the recent future Samsung will be credited for 22 percent of the world's total semiconductor capital expenditures and would spend about as much as Intel and TSMC combined. The leaders in the current chip making industry are Intel with sales of $9.49 billion, followed by Samsung and Toshiba with $3.24 billion.
