‘Dil Toh Baccha..’ Is More Challenging Than 3 Idiots, Says Omi VaidyaHe may be better recognized as 'Chatur' from the super-hit flick '3 Idiots' but Indian American Omi Vaidya is all set to move on with a more "go-getting" character in the upcoming comedy film 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji.'

After his big success on the silver screen, Omi, who did TV stint as the host of Star Plus's reality show 'Chhote Ustad', said, "After 3 Idiots, I wanted to be very careful. I was getting offers, but most of them were roles that were very similar to Chatur. I didn't want do those. I wanted to take up something new. Then Madhur Bhandarkar offered me this role, which was quite different. Initially I was scared because my Hindi is still not very good, but he assured me that I would be able to do it."

The 28-year-old actor started acting carrier at the age of six.

After completing his studies and doing a course from New York University, he did American shows such as Arrested Development, E-mail Surveillance and Fun Run. Vaidya's big ticket to the Hindi film industry came with director Rajkumar Hirani's blockbuster film 3 Idiots.

Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, which is Omi's second Bollywood film and Madhur Bhandarkar's first comedy flick, also features Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, Shruti Haasan, Shraddha Das and Shahzan Padamsee.

The story of the flick revolves around three guys and their encounters with love.

He said that he had a great time shooting with Madhur Bhandarkar.

Omi is also working on some other film projects including Reema Kagti's next directorial venture. He will also be seen in Abbas-Mustan multi-starrer "Players" and Rohit Dhawan's Desi Boyz.

As per reports, the film hit theatres on Jan 28.
