‘Fake Suntan Cream’ to Increase Cancer Awareness!
There was a fake advertisement recently posted by a skin cancer charity in Britain, and as many as 14,000 people were fooled by it.
It was done for the promotion of a charity. Actually they promoted a sun tan cream and any people went crazy about it and wanted to grab the first one available in the stores. It was said in the advertisement that this cream is a breakthrough new one for increasing the effect of the sun.
It was aid that this cream would specially benefit the ones with extremely fair skin and they could get that healthy tan they are dying for.
These advertisements were posted on the website of Sunny-3. It was a fake website and so was the cream. There were several videos for the cream posted as well.
When people visited their site, it was made clear that this was for luring them to become a part of a charity to avoid skin cancer. This was actually done to get some information from the users about their skin so that they could be tested for skin cancer risks.
Charity skin is a firm from England and this was all done because the advertising firm the McCann group was hoping to raise awareness among people about the rising risk of skin cancer.
