The National Capital is set for another scorching day Saturday with the maximum temperature expected to float around 40 degrees Celsius.
While the city still keenly awaits the rainfall, a thunderstorm is expected in some regions, a weather representative said.
An India Meteorological Department (IMD) official stated that Delhi registered a minimum temperature of 30.5 degrees Saturday - three notches above normal for this time of the year.
But, regions of the city could see a thunderstorm.
The IMD official stated, "The capital will have a partly clouded sky with the possibility of dust and thunderstorm in some parts."
The capital witnessed a minimum temperature of 27.7 degrees on Friday and a maximum temperature of 39.4 degrees -- both two notches above average. (With Inputs from Agencies)
