Washington, Oct 15 : Penelope Cruz is all set to dazzle the `Sex and the City' sequel with her presence.

The Oscar winning actress and Liza Minnelli have been roped in to join the original fab four - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Stewart and Cynthia Nixon, reports People.

In fact, Jason Lewis will also reprise his role as Samantha''s younger ex.

However, Cruz doesn''t play herself in the film, as was previously reported.

In her cameo, the `Vicky Cristina Barcelona' star would fill the designer shoes of a banker, revealed a source.

And she might spell trouble for Parker's character Carrie-clad in a sexy backless black dress, Cruz was spotted at the Empire Hotel filming a scene in which she gets a little too close to Mr. Big, played by Chris Noth.

The movie is due to hit theatres next summer. (ANI)
