Kandy (Sri Lanka), Sep. 12 : Australia sees the use of the new ball as the key to winning the second Test against Sri Lanka on the fifth day here on Monday.
Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin said the new ball would be crucial in determining whether Australia can win the game or have to settle for a draw.

Perth, Dec 17 : Sulieman Benn, Brad Haddin and Mitchell Johnson face suspension by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after having been involved in an on-field altercation on day two of the third Test between Australia and West Indies here Thursday.
The drama began when West Indies spinner Benn and Johnson collided as the Australian set off towards the keeper's end for a single and Benn tried to field the ball off Haddin.

Haddin is also planning to play in the Indian Premier League next year for Mumbai Indians who are most likely to secure his services.
Haddin's focus is the first Test of the Australian summer, against the West Indies from November 26.

Melbourne, Oct 9 Australian vice-captain Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin, Callum Ferguson and Nathan Bracken have been omitted, due to injuries, from the 15-member squad for the seven-match One-day series against India.
Announcing the team here Friday, national selection panel chairman Andrew Hilditch said that Clarke is continuing his rehabilitation from back soreness while wicket-keeper Brad Haddin continues his recovery after a finger surgery. Callum Ferguson and Nathan Bracken are also suffering from knee injuries.

The big news doing the rounds is that Tim Paine will replace Brad Haddin in the Australian team while Kevin McClean will replace Daren Powell in the West Indies team after the ICC approved changes for the upcoming Champions Trophy (CT).
Brad Haddin, the Aussie wicketkeeper, has been ruled out of the ICC CT as he is recovering from surgery on his left ring finger.
The 31-year old Australian cricketer broke his finger in the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston last month.
Replacing Haddin, Tasmania wicketkeeper Tim Paine has also been included in the Australian ODI squad that would take on England.

Australian wicket-keeper Brad Haddin has been ruled out of the ODI series against England due to finger injury. Haddin will undergo a surgery on his broken finger in Sydney on Thursday which means he will be out of the action for next few weeks. He is also looking doubtful for the Champions Trophy.
Haddin sustained finger injury during the practice session before the Edgbaston test match against England and he was ruled out of the test match after scan report revealed serious damage to the left finger. Haddin was replaced by Graham Manou in Edgbaston test. Although, Haddin was included in the Australian squad for last two test matches.

Vettori said after the game that Haddin knew the wicket of Neil Broom was not legitimate, after the batsman was ruled to have been bowled by Michael Clarke in the 36th over despite replays showing Haddin''s gloves were in front of the stumps - an automatic no-ball.

The dispute centers around the dismissal of Black Cap Neil Broom at a vital stage of New Zealand''s two-wicket win.
Broome was given out bowled by Michael Clarke in the 36th over, but replays quickly showed Haddin had clipped off the bails with his gloves rather than the ball.
