Washington, Sept 19 : Pop star Christina Aguilera, who made her film debut in `Burlesque' last year, has revealed that she will never put her acting ahead of her music career.

According to Britain's Hello! magazine, Aguilera, 30, insists that her main focus will always be on her singing, though she is looking forward to doing other movies.

"I'm always reading scripts. `Burlesque' was something that came to my door that I was truly inspired to do," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

London, Jan 9 : Pop singer Christina Aguilera has agreed to act in a film as it will let her share screen presence with her idol and Academy Award singer Cher.

Aguilera will be seen in "Burlesque" that features her as a small-town girl who moves to Los Angeles to become a star and ends up working in a burlesque club, reported thesun. co. uk.

Pop singer Cher too is acting in the film and Aguilera revealed that she said yes to the role because she idolises the veteran pop star. (IANS)

Washington, November 18 : Christina Aguilera is reportedly inviting fans to join in her bash New Year bash in Las Vegas – for a price.

The singer will allegedly play the role of the hostess at the 31 December (09) party at Tao Las Vegas.

The star was apparently throwing open the entry for fans with tickets costing 150 dollars.

The tickets to the lavish party purportedly include entry into the club, food and an open bar. (ANI)

London, Nov 18 - Fans of Christina Aguilera can ring in the New Year with the singer who is hosting a lavish bash in Las Vegas.

Contactmusic. com reports that the singer is taking on hostessing duties at the Dec 31 party at Tao Las Vegas and she's inviting the public to join her.

The ‘Dirrty’ hitmaker has a 21-month-old son Max with her music executive husband Jordan Bratman.

"When the sun goes down my whole body starts to come alive, although I am a little different now because I do have a child and my hours have been turned upside down for him,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

In a new TV documentary, the `Beautiful' hitmaker has revealed that she overcame the childhood pain suffered at the hands of his army sergeant father through music.

"I witnessed a lot of unpleasant things - a lot of pushing and shoving and fighting and quarrelling. Growing up I did not feel safe," E! Online quoted Aguilera as saying.

London, September 1 : Christina Aguilera has revealed that she can’t maintain a strict diet and so she works out hard at night to maintain her figure.

Apparently, the pop star, who loves her food, starts exercising once her son Max goes to bed.

"I don''t diet because I can''t. I love my food too much. I can''t even cut down on carbs because that''s so hard for me,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

She said: "So I eat what I like and make sure I work out for an hour when Max goes to bed. It''s hard but it works for me."

Washington, Aug 29 : Pop singer Christina Aguilera paid an emotional tribute to her hubby Jordan Bratman in a recent TV interview, crediting him for helping her overcome her abusive past.

Aguilera, 28, and music marketing executive Bratman, 32, who are parents to 19-month-old son Max, will be married four years in November.

And the singer insists that it is only because of Bratman’s loving influence that she has been able to conquer her fears after growing up with an abusive father.

The singer, who delivered Max, her first child with husband Jordan Bratman, last January, insists that parenthood has harnessed her personality and also her sex appeal.
