Now, ‘minute mentoring’ for women by womenLondon, Nov 29 : Dana Perino, former press secretary to ex-President George W Bush, has come up with the idea of ‘minute mentoring’ where aspiring career women are given tips on how to make it big in their respective areas of interest.

“I thought: wouldn’t it be good if we could get these girls together with women to act as mentors — then, like speed dating, run through very fast, as the mentors don’t have much time, and ‘mentees’ pick things up very quickly,” Times Online quoted Perino, as saying.

Another White House spokesperson said Washington would like to work cordially with the new Government in Pakistan, the Daily Times reported.

State Department spokesperson Tom Casey said the US hopes the new Government in Pakistan would fully cooperate with President Pervez Musharraf.

"The US is not telling anyone what to do, it’s just a hope," he added.
