Nevada (US), Sep. 24 : Hindus have demanded the immediate resignation of Indian cricket coach Gary Kirsten for attacking the moral fiber of the country by reportedly encouraging sex indulgence among the nation’s cricket players in a dossier, claiming it could increase performance.
Indian American leader Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that India’s youth looked up to the cricket players as kind of role models. If the national cricket team indulged in undisciplined casual sex, it was a scary thought to imagine what the rest of the youth of the country would do.

The big news doing the rounds is that national team cricket coach Gary Kirsten has asked the Indian cricketers to have sex to improve their performance on the field.
In the four-point charter, Kirsten, a former player of South Africa, points out that sex raises testosterone levels, which in turn will increase the players' power, aggression and competitiveness.

Indian cricket team coach Gary Kirsten has been warned by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for his recent remarks on Indian Premier League (IPL) in which he said that due to participation of Indian players in IPL-2, they were mentally as well as physically tired for the ICC T20 World Cup.
According to sources, BCCI president Shashank Manohar and secretary N Srinivasan met with Kirsten and he was told not to speak openly against the IPL. Board's dissatisfaction was conveyed to him in London before the Indian team left for the West Indies.

India's coach Gary Kirsten has blamed Indian Premier League (IPL-2) for early exit of Indian team from the ICC T20 World Cup as Indian team crashed out of the ICC T20 World Cup after losing two matches in the super eight round.
Former South African opener, Kirsten said that due to involvement of all the Indian players in the IPL-2, Indian players were physically as well as mentally tired and due to this reason they were unable to defend their T20 championship title.

While The Telegraph reports that Flower is expected to continue his partnership with captain Andrew Strauss into the summer, the Daily Express says that Kirsten has emerged as a strong possible challenger.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has said that it will begin the interview process as soon as the England team arrives home next week, with an appointment set to be announced before the West Indies tour starts at Lord's on May 6.

He said that the shot puts the tribe of bowlers in a distinctly disadvantageous position and administrators of the game should bring in change in the laws to right the wrong.
"I think we have to do something about the law of the game, because it's a big advantage for the batsman and a disadvantage for the bowlers," The News quoted Kirsten, as saying.
Pietersen unleashed the much debated shot against Harbhajan Singh and Amit Mishra in the ongoing Mohali test match.

be the next coach of the Indian cricket team. Accepting the BCCI’s offer, Former South African opener Gary Kirsten is now all set to hold the reins of the Indian cricket team, a year after Australian Greg Chappell had stepped down following the team's debacle in the World Cup in the West Indies.
Kirsten, 40, said that his two-year contract as coach will begin from March 1, 2008. He will start his assignment by joining the team as a consultant on its tour of Australia starting later this month.

New Delhi: India’s next cricket coach would be Gary Kirsten.
BCCI has given a week’s time to the South African to confirm his acceptance after a successful interview on Monday evening.
BCCI Vice-president Rajiv Shukla, said, “He was interviewed by the coach selection committee and everyone was satisfied at the end of it. It is for Gary to decide. We have asked him to confirm the offer within a week.”
Kirsten said he was happy about how things had panned out. “The interview went well,” he said, but added, “I haven’t signed anything yet.”

New Delhi, Nov 27: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that former South Africa opener Gary Kirsten is front-runner for the post of Indian cricket team coach.
According to reports, Kirsten was interviewed here last night by a panel headed by former captains Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri.
The name of the new coach is likely to be announced next week.
Earlier on Monday, the Coach Selection Committee members met Kirsten in Mumbai, and also held a meeting at the Board President Sharad Pawar's residence in New Delhi.
