Ecclestone believes this year will be a different story, especially if Raikkonen gets a flier when the season starts in Australia on Sunday.

Hamilton's 150,000 pounds figure was launched in front of young fans from the karting club in Kent, where he had started out, and they also got to try their hand at a race simulation game installed next to the wax model.

"We always knew he would be a champion," the Daily Star quoted club operations director Chris Pullman as saying.
