London, Nov 18 : Mischa Barton''s cancelled TV show ‘The Beautiful Life’ is all set for a second inning on the small screen, according to reports.

Bosses behind the show are planning to air the axed episodes next year.

The former ‘O. C.’ star signed on to Ashton Kutcher''s modelling drama earlier this year (09), but the series was scrapped by U. S. network The CW in September (09) due to poor ratings after just two episodes.

But now TV bosses are planning to revive the programme by airing the remaining shows next summer.

Washington, Nov 4 : Mischa Barton’s Halloween festivities turned sour after a fellow partygoer threw a drink over her.

Barton was having a gala time in New York on All Hallows'' Eve when a man splashed her with his drink claiming that she had trodden on his foot.

According to RadarOnline. com, the 23-year-old star did not spare the man as well, soaking the boor with her drink, reports Contactmusic.

However, things turned ugly when one of Barton''s pals got into a row with the guy.

New York, October 12 : Mischa Barton has decided to stay back in New York despite the cancellation of her show, `The Beautiful Life'.

The Brit-American actress explained the reasons at the Sony Vaio launch at Guastavino.

"I grew up in the city, so there''s a lot to love about it," the New York Post quoted the 23-year-old as saying.

"All my close friends are here. I feel it''s a fun city to lay low in and you get treated right," she added.

London, Sept 28 : Mischa Barton''s return to the small screen has been dealt a crushing blow, as CW network bosses have announced plans to scrap her fashion drama ‘The Beautiful Life’ after just two episodes.

The show was axed after only one million viewers tuned into it to see Barton play a drug addicted supermodel, reports the Sun.

Work on the New York City-based series was postponed when Barton to was admitted to a psychiatric ward in July, and though the 23-year-old actress had given herself to work totally after her release, her stars have not favoured her.
