Prabhu Deva is finally free from the shackles of his first marriage with Ramalath. According to reports in the media, the couple have opted for a mutual divorce at a First Additional Family Court in Chennai. It was just a few months ago that media reports were rife with Ramalath threatening to go on hunger strike if Prabhu Deva went ahead and married his new found love actress Nayantara. Ramalath was even heard fighting for a reunion with Prabhu Deva after reports of his affair with Nayantara surfaced in the media.

Following the grand success of Wanted, Prabhu Deva has become one of the most wanted filmmakers in B-town. The South Indian choreographer-actor turned filmmaker will now direct Akshay Kumar for an untitled film to be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. We have heard this straight from the shoulders of Prabhu, who is busy now choreographing a dance for Santhosh Sivan’s multilingual film Urumi.

Jeyam Ravi-Hansika Motwani starrer ICH has been renamed as Engeyum Kadhal. The film is directed by choreographer-actor turned filmmaker Prabhu Deva and is produced by Kalpathi S Agoram. The film went on floors before couple of months and has been completed within a period of 46 days. Major portions of the film have been shot across exotic foreign locations.

According to sources, the film is based on a playboy with wrong assumptions of love. But his life goes through an unexpected change with a girl entering his life.

Finally Prabhu Deva clears up the buzz on air about his affair with Nayanthara. It has been a year long story about Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara's relationship and now the choreographer-actor declares formally that they will be getting married shortly. Prabhu Deva cannot stop singing praises of Nayanthara as he says that she transformed his life completely.

The choreographer also adds that they have been showering unconditional love upon each other. When asked about Nayanthara quitting films about marriage, he said, "It's up to Nayanthara to decide. She loves being at home spending more time with family."

National Film Award-winning Indian dancer Prabhu Deva, who is also known as actor, choreographer, and film director, is the newly added cast of the bilingual period drama Urumi.

Directed by Santhosh Sivan, Urumi is a bilingual movie in Malayalam and Tamil. Prithviraj and Genelia are signed in the lead roles as reported earlier. The story deals with a group of people, who wanted to slay the Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama.

`The Boy who wanted to kill Vasco Da Gama', is the tag line of the movie, which has Genelia in the role of a Portuguese princess.

Prabhu Deva and Ayesha Takia Azmi is the next celebrity guest in Sony’s Dus Ka Dum. The actors are here to promote their up coming film “Wanted” in the show. All three had a gala time while playing the game.

“Prabhu Deva and Ayesha were here in the show to promote their film Wanted. Salman did ask about the movie and also jigged with the dancing sensation on the stage,” says our source.

Ayesha too joined them. “It’s kind of her first big appearance on screen after marriage. She was looking stunning and enjoyed the game show with the two hunks of the Film Industry,” adds the source.

The big news doing the rounds is that the choreographer, actor-turned-director Prabhu Deva has secretly married Nayanthara in Hyderabad.

Prabhu Deva, the father of three kids and husband of the former dancer Ramlath, fell in love with Nayantara when they worked together in Vijay’s ‘Villu’.

However, the sources close to the actress denied the rumor, and said, “She was not even in Hyderabad when rumours of her marriage broke.”

A few months back when Prabhu lost his eldest son, it was Nayanthara, who gave him strength to come out of his personal pain.
