New Delhi, May 14  :  Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams wore a Victorian rose cut diamond bracelet designed by Indian jewellery makers Amrapali on day two of the 64th Cannes International Film Festival. The Canadian actress teamed the bracelet worth $40,000 with a sequined golden corset and high-waisted golden trousers for the premiere of "Sleeping Beauty".

This was, however, not the first time a Hollywood actress has sported jewellery made by Jaipur-based Amrapali.

In the past, actresses like Megan Fox, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz too have adorned Amrapali jewels.

Washington, November 19 : Rachel McAdams has dismissed rumors that she will star in the next Spiderman flick.

Online reports had suggested that she would play comic book villainess Black Cat in the movie.

"That’s a total rumour, I have to say,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Entertainment Weekly.

She added: “I was hanging out in Toronto the other day and someone came up to me and said, ‘I just heard you’re doing Spider-Man 4.‘ And I said, ‘Really? No one told me!’ It’s not true.”

If she signs up, viewers will get to see her play the costumed alter-ego of Felicia Hardy, Peter Parker''s new found love.

"She falls in love with Peter Parker, and uncovers his true identity. Her father then dies, and Hardy becomes a threat to Peter Parker," the Daily Star quoted a source as telling film website Heyuguys. co. uk.

The `Notebook' star is convinced that getting naked for a role should be considered a part of the job.

New York, Apr 28 : Canadian actress Rachel McAdams and her boyfriend actor Josh Lucas were spotted having an earnest conversation with a Yoga instructor.

McAdams, 30, and Lucas, 37, went to the Golden Bridge Yoga NYC in NoLIta to take a class and set up private sessions.

"They were in pretty serious talks with the teacher afterward," the New York Post quoted an onlooker as saying.

The week before, Lucas was spotted helping McAdams look for an apartment in the East Village. (ANI)

Washington, Apr 15 : Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams has revealed that she sees a potential politician in Ben Affleck, and insists that he can prove to be a "real asset" to the country.

Rachel was blown away by her co-actor''s portrayal of a congressman in her flick State of Play.

She has even agreed to campaign for him, if he chooses to contest elections.

"I hope he does go into politics," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

London, Apr 12 : Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams is planning a career hiatus to get a little wild.

The Notebook star, who keeps a low profile by living in her native Canada in a rustic home close to her parents, plans to spend two years in the woods.

"I kind of fancy living in the woods for two years," the Daily Express quoted her as telling Marie Claire magazine.

"Not by myself - but I do have a side of me that would just love to be stuck in the woods and have to stick it out and be really resourceful," she added. (ANI)
