London, April 9 : Music mogul Simon Cowell says rumours about his sexual orientation do not affect him.

In the past, the 53-year-old has dated a string of beauties like Mezhgan Hussainy, Dannii Minogue and Carmen Electra. But many have raised doubts about his orientation. Cowell isn't worried.

"I couldn't care less because it's nothing to be ashamed of. If I was living 200 years ago in a coal mine, maybe, but I work in possibly the gayest industry in the world," mirror. co. uk quoted Cowell as saying.

London, March 30 : Music Moghul Simon Cowell showed off his softer side Thursday by helping host a charity tea party here.

He teamed up with The Health Lottery founder Richard Desmond for the reception honouring those helped by the scheme, which generates cash for health-related good causes.

Cowell handed out giant chocolate Easter eggs during the reception and told guests his mother Julie, who was ill recently, had made him realise how important good health is.

Los Angeles, March 16 : "The X Factor" boss Simon Cowell does not know how to cook good food for himself at all, says his brother Tony.

Cowell, 53, can cook only basic meals like a sandwich or grilled bacon.

"Simon can't cook except for a grilled bacon and tomato sandwich on bread and baked beans on toast. That's the thing he cooked for me when I was at his Holland Park (London) home recently," mail. co. uk quoted Tony as saying.

The 53-year-old is in talks with YouTube to create a specific channel where anyone can upload a video sharing their talent.

London, Feb 22 : Music mogul Simon Cowell has reportedly decided to sack singer Tulisa Contostavlos from the judges' panel of British version of reality show "The X Factor".

The singer, whose debut album "The Female Boss", failed to make an impact recently, has shared the judging panel with Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.

"Quite apart from her performance on last year's show, you can't have a singer whose album only reached Number 35 in the charts sitting in judgment on other singers," a source said.

London, Feb 17 - Music mogul Simon Cowell wanted to share his name with a new racehorse, which he bought last month with comedy and TV presenting duo Ant and Dec. The trio ultimately settled on It's A Yes From Me, a reference to the judges' comments on Cowell's TV talent shows.
