Not remaking 'Appadi Podu' song: Sonu SoodNew Delhi, Jan 18 - Actor Sonu Sood has denied reports that he is doing the Hindi remake of Tamil chartbuster "Appadi Podu", saying the rights are with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.

"Hi, all the stories of me doing the 'Appadi Podu' song for 'Lucky Unlucky' are not true. The rights are with Akshay Kumar for his home production," the 38-year-old posted on Twitter.

"Will really look forward to it, I am sure he will rock," he added.

And after working with Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, he now shares screen space with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in "Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap" and says that this is the best phase of his career.

"Every actor wants to work with Mr. Bachchan at least once. and I got an opportunity to work in a film, which is basically about him and me. Everyday was a learning experience. He is a great man with a lot of experience. He is a great guy and we had lot of fun together," the 38-year-old told IANS in an interview.

"I really thank PETA for making me a part of their family. I think we should bring that kind of awareness to everyone that we have to do something for animals - become vegetarians and do good to this Earth," Sonu, 37, said in a statement.

"The film was brought to me before Salman came on board. Initially I was supposed to do Salman's role of a cop... but when he decided to be a part of the film, I was offered the role of the youth politician that I'm now playing," Sonu told IANS in an interview.

Bollywood actors cheer up children with blood disorderMumbai, May 4 : Ahead of World Thalassemia Day, Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan, Sonali Kulkarni and Sonu Sood, joined underprivileged children affected with the blood disorder, in Mumbai.

The actors shared some time with the kids and also distributed gifts and watched a film along with them.

The function was organised by a voluntary group, ''We Care Trust'', that works for the prevention of Thalassemia.

Khan urged people to undergo a test for Thalassemia.

Producer Shyam Prasad Reddy has subbed the film in Tamil and released it recently. He also plans to dub the film in various Indian languages shortly. The film is now being dubbed in ‘Sinhalese’ and will be released in Sri Lanka.
